In 2024, the change to bilingual directional traffic signs along county roads in the four southern districts of Nyitra County, inhabited by ethnic Hungarians, will also begin. The county’s 2024 budget includes a relatively significant sum for restoration and replacement of signs due to wear and tear. Beginning 2025, tourism traffic signs along county roads will also become bilingual with all changes in the southern districts completed by the end of 2026.
