It is with sadness that the American Hungarian Federation learned of Mr. Laszlo Hamos' death on April 16th. He was an ardent supporter of protecting the collective and human rights of the Hungarians left behind by the unjust Trianon border changes dictated to Hungary by vengeful victors of WWI, resulting in minority status to Hungarians in the successor countries. Some of which to this day treat the Hungarian minority as second class citizens and often engage in what can only be described as "cultural ethnic cleansing".
The AHF has lost a fellow fighter for these causes.

On a personal note I have known Laci since our days together in the Cserkeszet, he was member of Eros Gusztav cs. cs. #7 in NYC and I as member of Gabor Aaron cs. cs #6 Passaic, NJ., later the New York City szbad egyetem and throughout our lives fighting for Hungarian cuases.

May he rest in peace.
