Second Tranche of $20,000 Delivered to Aid Ukrainian Refugees

The second tranche of $20,000 has been successfully delivered to aid Ukrainian refugees, which has been used for medical supplies, food, and housing efforts. The aid has been disbursed to four organizations working on the ground at the Ukrainian-Hungarian border: the Carpathian Foundation, the Creative Cultural Exchange, Inc. in cooperation with Hungarian Maltese Charity Service, the government of Hungarian villages bordering Ukraine, and the local government of Bakonybél, Hungary.

As a member of the Hungarian American Coalition, HHRF is partnering with the umbrella organization to maximize and coordinate our relief efforts, and working closely with several organizations and institutions to help alleviate the pain of the tragedy of the war in Ukraine.

Thank you to all who have donated thus far to the relief efforts. To read more about our relief efforts read the Hungarian American Coalition Newsletter.

The Carpathian Foundation’s flier thanking its donors. The Foundation purchased and delivered medicine and medical supplies worth more than HUF 1 million ($3,000) to hospitals in Subcarpathia.
