Hungarian Community Party (Magyar Közösség Pártja – MKP) President Krisztián Forró was denied entry at the Ukrainian border on Wednesday, October 3^rd, 2021 on his way to Uzhhorod/Ungvár to meet with the leadership of the Cultural Alliance of Hungarians in Subcarpathia in Ukraine.

Despite never having visited Ukraine before, Forró has been placed on a ban list for the first time in his life and is unable to enter Ukraine until October 26, 2023 for reasons yet unknown.

Krisztián Forró stated that the reason for his trip was to gain more knowledge about the life of Hungarians in Ukraine, and to meet with the representatives of the organizations and institutions of the community.
